Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care- Where Does Gambling Fit?

This 4-hr training will discuss the growing movement toward recovery-oriented systems of care in the addictions field. The practice relies heavily upon recovery community organizations to provide both advocacy and peer-to-peer driven services, which often include components such as recovery coaching, telephone support, housing and recovery community centers, as well as peer training. The workshop will offer suggestions about how to integrate problem gambling services into recovery-oriented systems of care and recovery centers through education and collaboration.
