12-Step Self-Help Groups

Are you wondering if you should attend a Self-Help Group?

Self-help groups are available to support people experiencing gambling problems, as well as their loved ones. Everyone at meetings has experienced problems with gambling and is there to recover and talk with other people who have experienced the addiction.

Based on the same 12-step concept as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA), Bettors Anonymous (BA) and Gam-Anon (a support group specifically for families and loved ones of problem gamblers) all hold regular meetings in local communities.  There is NO COST to participate; you do not have to call ahead to attend meetings, and you are welcome any time.
